Postman POST/CON 24 conference puts API interaction at the center of the AI boom

Postman, the world's leading API collaboration platform, will next week host POST/CON 2024, its largest user conference ever. The conference will take place April 30 - May 1, 2024 at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square Hotel. POST/CON attendees will hear from industry leaders and learn new skills through hands-on workshops, in-depth customer presentations and networking opportunities.

The keynote session will feature Asthana talking about the API-driven AI revolution and new innovations in Postman, and Heroku CTO Gail Frederick speaking on team collaboration at scale. The morning will conclude with a panel discussion featuring leading AI development experts from OpenAI, NVIDIA, and Notion. They will discuss one of the most hotly debated topics in the industry right now: the speed and availability of proprietary AI systems vs. the defense against knowing what underlies the code of open source AI systems.

The day before the conference, POST/CON will host in-person workshops led by Postman experts to show how to use Postman for collaborative API development, prototyping, and testing.

After morning keynotes and live demonstrations, the afternoon will conclude with presentations and lightning talks where leading organizations will share best practices in Postman, API collaboration, and how to make the most of AI in development workflows. The three tracks include:

• Scaling API collaboration across the organization: Increase productivity and enrich the developer experience by scaling API collaboration across the organization. Includes sessions from Meta, Cisco, Verizon, and London Stock Exchange Group.
• Grow your API community: Learn how making APIs public is a strategic move to help grow your global Postman community. Sessions from Salesforce, Siemens and HubSpot.
• Expanding the API Toolkit: Learn new strategies, tactics, and tools to improve API development. Sessions from GitHub, Intuit, Box, and Zoom.
