Theta Labs is excited to announce the upcoming launch of Theta EdgeCloud, a revolutionary platform that will support a variety of open source AI models. The team is currently in the final stages of development and working to finalize the set of AI models that will be available at launch.

With Theta EdgeCloud, AI developers will be able to select and deploy popular generative AI models and large language models. Supported models include Meta Llama 2, Google Gemma, Stable Diffusion, and others. These models have gained significant popularity in the industry, with millions of downloads.

One of the key benefits of Theta EdgeCloud is to provide immediate access to critical GPU resources. The platform will offer GPU resources such as NVIDIA A100s, V100s, T4s and others, as well as related dashboards and metrics. This will enable developers to optimize their AI models for various business scenarios.

The list of supported AI models in Theta EdgeCloud is subject to change, but currently includes the following:

  1. LLM: Mistral-8x7B, Mistral-7B, Google Gemma-7B, Meta Llama-2-7B
  2. Image Generation: Stable Diffusion XL (SDXL) Turbo, ControlNet
  3. Text in video: Stable diffusion video
  4. Speech Recognition: OpenAI Whisper
  5. Code Generation: CodeLlama

French company Mistral AI has developed the Mistral-8x7B, which can compete with the latest GPT-4. It is fluent in several languages, including English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.

Google Gemma-7B, launched by Google DeepMind in February 2024, is a family of lightweight, open-source models optimized for Nvidia GPUs and Google Cloud TPUs. The model is designed for efficient deployment on consumer-grade GPUs as well as cloud GPUs.

Meta Llama-2, developed in partnership with Microsoft, is a large-scale open source language model that is free for both research and commercial use. It provides increased accuracy and security of chat content through human feedback and reinforcement learning. Theta EdgeCloud will be launched with support for Llama-2.

Stable Diffusion, developed by Stability AI, is a revolutionary text-to-image generative artificial intelligence technology. It has gained immense popularity since its launch in 2022 and will be supported on Theta EdgeCloud. The platform will also support Stable Video Diffusion, which enables text-to-video generation.

In addition, Theta EdgeCloud will support ControlNet, genAI's innovative model in the text-to-image category. This model allows users to gain more control over image creation by accepting an additional input image.

Theta EdgeCloud will also support Whisper from OpenAI, a state-of-the-art speech recognition model. It boasts "semi-supervised learning" and has been trained on huge amounts of multilingual and multitasking data, making it more robust and accurate than other models.

Finally, Theta EdgeCloud will be launched with support for Meta's CodeLlama, a large language model specifically designed for coding. It has the potential to improve workflows and developer efficiency, as well as lower the barrier for novice coders.

Theta EdgeCloud is set to revolutionize the AI industry by giving developers easy access to powerful AI models and GPU resources. The upcoming launch promises to empower AI developers and enable them to create innovative solutions using cutting-edge technology.
